Abstract
The deep fractures reported from near the Pennar - Hagari schist belt in Wajrakarur - Lattavaram - P.C. Pyapilli, Ananthapur District, A.P. (Fig. 1) when followed by ground geophysical methods have brought out prominent magnetic trends coinciding with fractures and a number of moderate to strong E.M. 'Poor' conductor indications near their vicinity, some of which have been duly corroborated by subsequent airborne electromagnetic and radiometric (potassium) survey. The combined study of the results from geophysics, geology and geochemistry have pointed to three probable locations of kimberlites.
